Step 1 – Decontamination Wash
We start with a thorough two-bucket wash using pH-balanced soap to safely remove surface dirt and grime. Then we chemically decontaminate using iron remover and a clay bar to pull embedded contaminants from the paint.
Step 2 – Paint Inspection
Using proper lighting and paint meters, we evaluate the vehicle’s condition to identify swirl marks, oxidation, scratches, or previous bodywork.
Step 3 – Paint Correction
This is the heart of the prep work. We use machine polishing to remove defects, enhance gloss, and create a mirror-like finish. This step is crucial — because ceramic coating locks in whatever’s underneath.
Step 4 – Surface Prep
After correction, we use an alcohol-based panel wipe to remove polishing oils and residue. This ensures the ceramic coating can properly bond to clean, bare clear coat.
Step 5 – Coating Application
We apply the ceramic coating in a controlled environment, working panel by panel. Flash times, leveling, and overlap are carefully managed to ensure an even layer with no high spots.
Step 6 – Curing & Inspection
After installation, we do a final inspection under proper lighting to ensure no high spots or missed areas. The vehicle then cures indoors for the recommended period before being exposed to the elements.
